Summit will offer all of their client's access to reimbursement specialists to allow them to take advantage of funding available to them based on their individual situation.
 
This service helps clients navigate the complex world of government funding as well as private insurance to maximise their own care and minimise out of pocket expenses.

Summit will have reimbursement specialists that perform the following tasks:

  • Review the person’s specific situation and coordinate with provincial and federal government agencies to enrol the client in all available programs.
  • Review in detail all private insurance available to an individual to ensure they are receiving and/or claiming all services they are entitled to under their policy.
  • Act as an advocate for the resident to negotiate with drug or paramedical providers to drive down the cost of products or services where possible.
  • Work with the nurse care manager to optimise the monthly costs associated with medical care to develop the best plan for an individual.
  • Review the plan on an annual basis to ensure conditions have not changed.
